Return & Refund Policy – Namey by Amy

Effective Date: 26 August 2025

At Namey by Amy, all products are handmade with care, and each piece is unique. Please read this Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Change of Mind

  • Change of mind, preference changes, or ordering mistakes are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

  • Please carefully review your order details, including spelling, colour, style, and requested month of delivery before finalising your purchase.

2. Handmade Product Variations

  • Slight variations in colour, size, texture, and finish are inherent to handmade products and are not considered defects.

  • These natural differences do not entitle customers to a refund.

3. Faulty, Unsafe, or Misdescribed Products

  • Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product is:

    • Faulty

    • Unsafe

    • Significantly different from its description

    • Not fit for purpose

  • Please contact me as soon as possible if you believe your order falls into one of these categories. I will work with you to resolve the issue.

4. Custom & Personalised Orders

  • Custom or personalised items are not eligible for refunds or exchanges unless they are faulty or significantly different from what was agreed.

  • Please provide accurate details and preferences when ordering, as I rely on this information to create your item.

5. Shipping & Lost Items

  • Once your order leaves Namey by Amy’s care, I am not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged parcels.

  • I will assist in liaising with Australia Post or other postal carriers if a parcel is lost or delayed, but these services are independent of Namey by Amy.

6. How to Report an Issue

  • If your order is faulty, unsafe, or significantly different from its description, please contact me immediately at:

7. Notes

  • All products are decor items. Slight fading, wear, or changes to materials over time are not considered faults.
